The stock market is closely related to the performances of options, so option trading doesn’t exist in a vacuum like many people believe. By complimenting your larger portfolio of stocks and mutual funds, you will be able to protect your assets and profit when it comes to using option strategies.

There are a lot of factors to consider when trying to determine which positions to buy, among them are fundamentals, technical analysis, the macd indicator, stochastics, volatility and overall market sentiment. But, probably one of the best ways to hone your purchasing focus is to look at what you already own in your long portfolio and use option trading to provide some diversification.

For example, if you already have a lot of biotech stocks or a biotech mutual fund, buying more biotech-based call options would not be your best move. If there is a gain in the biotech stocks you will already possess enough interest to see a gain. In this case you would actually be more likely to benefit by buying a few biotech-based put options.

One of the most basic tenets to understanding option strategies is to know and remember the difference between put options and call options. Put options profit when stocks suddenly fall. In this example, if biotech stocks took an unexpected nosedive, you would profit, which would help offset losses you will experience in your other portfolios. Conversely, call options can act as a surrogate for stocks as they will profit if a stock, index or sector rises.

By choosing your own calls and enlisting option trading to enhance your stock of long holdings, you can increase your returns and lower the impeding risk. You may find this hard to believe, since you probably believe that options are all speculation, high-risk with fast profits. They are if you hurriedly trade in and out of short-term options.

Remember that options have a variety of uses, and to use option trading as a method for speculating and making a highly taxed fast buck is not the most profitable way to go. Professionals use option trading as a means of hedging risk and to bolster profit in the underlying stocks they hold. It is important to remember that option trading can be a means to many ends including income generation, profiting from short-term market fluctuations, protecting assets you already have, or making long-term tax-efficient gains.

Options count for more than speculation or getting a fast dollar. Trading experts use them to hold down risk and pad the profit of the underlying stocks held by them. Option trading does not exist in a vacuum; remember that options’ performances are closely related to the stock market. The best way to use option strategies to profit and protect your assets is to complement your larger portfolio of stocks and mutual funds. Trading in options can increase the level of diversification in your holdings. You need to take into consideration not only overall market sentiment and volatility, but also the fundamentals, MACD indicator and technical analysis.

Improving your credit score is something that interests practically everyone. Everybody wants to know how to get better credit so that they can buy the things they want in the future. Cars, homes, boats and property are all things that people aspire to own, and being able to attain them depends on one’s credit score. Luckily, improving credit score can be done.

In order to improve your credit score, the first thing you need to do is to find out what is your current credit score with the three credit reporting companies. This information can be obtained from the credit reporting company right from your home. Each of the three major credit bureaus has a website and you can get your credit score from there.

You can use a valid and secure website from one of the three major credit report companies to preform an online credit check. These sites also offer the option of a program that sends you an update every month and when any changes have been made to your report. Another good option is a 3-in-1 credit check, which gives you information from all three of the major credit report companies. The different credit bureaus may give you different scores because of variations in their data, making the all-inclusive report a good choice.

A credit score can range from 300 to 850. The most excellent credit score one can achieve is a score of 850. The average person’s credit score will fall into the range of 500-700. Depending on which credit reporting companies are used, a person’s credit is rated as Very Bad, Bad, Fair, Good, Very Good, Great, or Excellent. If a person desires a loan or credit card, they will have to have at minimum a credit rating of Fair.

If you don’t have Fair credit, or have many derogatory marks on your credit score, do not lose hope! There is always time for improving your score with credit report companies. Paying bills on time, applying for as few credit cards as possible, and making more than just the minimum payment on a bill are all things that can help build up your credit.

Having a high credit score is very important because it shows that a person will likely repay debts in a responsible manner, the key factor that creditors look at. Young people do not always think that credit is so significant, but one mistake will stay on your credit for years to come. Therefore, paying bills on time, or even early, is key to managing credit scores.

Having a high credit score is something that should be important to everyone. The better one’s credit the better able one is to make important future purchases”"a good credit score is essential for obtaining a new home, car, or boat. In order to improve one’s credit one must first find out what one’s score is, a great way to do that is by consulting one of many credit reporting companies, the three major credit report companies even have websites that enable one to get an online credit check. Credit scores range from 300-850, with the higher the score the better.

There is always a sense of dread about what could happen along the way when one travels domestically or internationally. This is where travel insurance becomes very pertinent. The beauty with travel insurance is that it assures you of protection for your journey from start to finish. Accidents can happen along the way, so far as one is away from his or her home of residence. You could also suffer some kind of financial loss along the way. All such travel related circumstances are covered by travel insurance. Travel insurance can be bought from financial institutions like banks or directly from insurance companies. Get the travel insurance that will be on a per-trip basis to take care of all issues that might arise, such as medical or legal problems along the way, problems with loss of baggage, departure delays, theft, etc. If you are one that likes to engage in high risk sports such as motor racing, skiing, scuba diving, etc or one that intends to visit a high risk country, you need to buy specific travel insurance which would cover these risks. The price of travel insurance differs. It’s unwise to buy a travel insurance that will cover risky travels when you don’t intend to travel to risky places of the world or to engage in risky behavior. You and a spouse can get a travel insurance package for seventy to one hundred twenty for as long as two weeks to any European country. You will also pay similar rates for travels to Africa. Terrorists attacks are becoming the norm these days, so don’t forget to get travel insurance that will cover you whenever you are traveling to such destinations. In conclusion, it’s very important not to ever forget buying travel insurance package before traveling.

If you want people to read your marketing material, it’s getting a lot more challenging than it used to be. However, you can utilize techniques and tricks to make it easier to do so than before, too.

It’s no secret that without an effective, attention-grabbing headline, your sales letter can be completely useless. The same goes for email subject lines to convince people to open them.

There are some hypnotic ‘text tricks’ you can use to really make your headlines, titles, and subject lines extra appealing. However, I must warn you that some of these tricks are edgy and not for the faint of heart!

We’ve used these ourselves, so we know they work.

Here are 5 very unusual tricks you can use right away to stop anyone in their tracks (if you DARE to use them):

1. Use a headline with “fill-in-the-blank”. For example, you can say, “Make As Much ______ As You Want to, in Your Own Home!” There’s not a much better way to generate curiosity than inserting a blank in your headline at a very strategic place.

2. Write your headline backwards. ‘!emoH nwO ruoY ni ot tnaW uoY sA yenoM hcuM sA ekaM’ Many people will want to sit there and figure out what you’re saying, especially if they’re not expecting it.

3. Write two words that appeal, and one totally unrelated one. ‘Money! Freedom! Lizards!’ Humor often combines two or three completely unrelated subjects or ideas.

4. Emphasize specific words by using all capital letters, dashes, or underlining. Take a look at this article’s headline again. Certain keywords can really stand out in your headline or title that will make your readers to subconsciously want to respond favorably.

5. Block one or two words. ‘Make As Much XXXXX As You Want to, in Your Own Home!’ Similar to using the blank in the headline, you instead use a “black box” to block out a word from being seen. This may often grab readers’ attention so that they’re thinking, “What you hiding?”

Once you use these tricks, make sure you explain the title or headline in your opening. Don’t be seen as unprofessional. For example, you could start your opening paragraph by saying, “I see my headline got your attention.” Then go on and explain yourself so the readers understand.

There are a lot of other techniques you can use and come up with on your own. These are just a few of the tricks listed in the ‘Hypnotic Traffic Tools’ bonus report. Use these ideas sparingly as well throughout the body of your content, instead of just keeping to your subject or headlines with them.

Go on and give these a try, and see how much fun they are!

Data can prove that there is no correlation between traveling locally or internationally, there are certain risks and uncertainties you have to contend with along the way. Safety is not a measure of domestic or international travel, most trips always have fears attached with them. It is a smart thing to sometimes challenge our beliefs surrounding safety in domestic versus international travel, there are always risks and uncertainties to be faced along the way. Guard these thoughts in your mind that there are bound to be suspicions and risks with traveling outside or even within your country of residence. This is why most people always ensure they get travel insurance for such trips.

You see, the great importance of buying traveling insurance is to have every aspect of your travel covered while you are outside your country of even outside your home. Traveling always has the risk of something distasteful happening along the way. There’s also the tendency of some form of financial problem when engaged in such journeys. This way, any such travel related problems can be solved with travel insurance. If you need travel insurance for your journeys, go to the insurance companies to buy or even buy from the banks. If you want to be covered all the way throughout your journey, it’s wise to get per-trip travel insurance. For those who intend to engage in high risk sports while on such travels or who want to visit certain high risk parts countries of the world, they should buy specific travel insurance to cover such risks. It’s unlikely that the rates of all the travel insurance are the same. It’s advisable to always take you time to buy the travel insurance that is most suitable to your specific travel situation. You can get a travel insurance package for two for seventy to one hundred twenty for as long as two weeks to any European country. Rates of traveling to Africa are also similar. Don’t forget to always get travel insurance which will adequately cover you if you are visiting a country that’s prone to terrorists’ attacks. Finally, don’t make the big mistake of traveling without travel insurance.

In the ‘old days,’ there was a specific formula to book promotion. A no-holds barred author tour was the answer where the author would go for a winning mixture of television, radio, print and book signings. It was a hold-nothing-back author tour where the writer would ‘appear’ in a given city and get some combination of heavyweight radio, TV, book-signing and newspaper coverage. What would happen after this? The people in each city would remember not only THEIR name, but also the name of their BOOK! Is this still a plausible outcome nowadays? Actually, it depends. Depends? If you have the right public relations firm following the right guidelines, then success is almost guaranteed. But if you have the wrong PR firm!then it really is a crap shoot. Marsha Friedman, CEO of EMSI, a national pr firm says “In this game there are rules, so make sure you get your PR firm to follow them!” Here Marsha shares her 5 author tour guidelines that will help you bring successes to your book’s promotion.

1. ‘Anchor’ each city with at least one interview on a major network TV affiliate. Marsha Friedman says, “This is where the PR ‘rubber meets the road’: If a major network affiliate show can’t be landed, there’s limited value in that market when you consider the time and money you have to invest in the trip. Just cancel that city and move onto the next.”

2. Obtain a minimum of two to three media appearances in each market within a day or two. This is yet another important part about whether or not to go into a city when you are on tour. Friedman says, “If you go out fighting for a day or two and things come together, you really have a good chance at “household name” status in that market.”

3. Schedule at least one book signing. Want to drive distribution of your book into a city. Then this is one of the best methods to do so. In addition to distribution, book signings really create public relations opportunity and excitement that can usually set you back a pretty penny. Marsha Friedman adds, “Finally, you can get some synergy working for you when you mention the book signing on your local radio, TV or newspaper appearances.” 4. When you visit a city, in your spare time check out the local retail outlets for books. Unless your PR agency is an absolute wizard, you’re going to have some down time in a given city. So spend it visiting bookstores. Marsha Friedman adds, “Your books on the shelves? Offer to autograph them! Are you books not on the shelf? Then offer to do a book signing!”

5. Generate local word-of-mouth with speaking engagements. Another terrific way of maximize your exposure in a market in your free time by arranging speaking engagements with professional or governmental groups. Wearing the Promoter’s Hat Maybe, when you started writing, nobody told you that you’d have to be a promoter, too. But that’s just the reality of successful writing. With an author tour, you really need to get promoting and make sure that you make every media appearance and book signing count!

So as you can see, author tours are a fabulous way to get the word out about your book and drive sales. Just make sure that whomever you use to schedule them follows the 5 tips above! If you would like to learn more about gaining media attention for your company, product or service, without the financial burden of monthly retainers, Marsha is available to be of service .

Most of your prospective customers will find your website through a search engine. Understanding how search engines work and how they find and present information is vital to your long term business success.

Search engines use crawlers or spiders to index websites. When a search engine discovers your website, either through an incoming link or from a submission by you, it will send crawler to catalog all the pages on your site. These crawlers are completely automated. The crawler visits your site, reads the contents, titles, meta tags, links and will also follow links on your site. When it’s finished, the crawler will return the information back to a central depository, where the data is indexed for quick access later. The crawler will index any of the sites you link to as well. Some search engines limit the number of pages per site that are indexed, so if you want everything indexed, keep your site small!

The search engine will send the crawler out to check for new or updated pages periodically. When this happens is determined by the rules of each specific search engine.

A crawler can index up to a million pages every day and it is creating a copy of your sites table of contents, content, links and references for later use by web searchers.

Search engines that use crawlers: Google, AltaVista, Lycos and Excite.

When you ask a search engine to locate information, it is actually searching through the index which it has created and not actually searching the Web. Different search engines produce different rankings because not every search engine uses the same algorithm to search through the indices.

One of the things that a search engine algorithm scans for is the frequency and location of keywords on a web page, but it can also detect artificial keyword stuffing or spamdexing. Then the algorithms analyze the way that pages link to other pages in the Web. By checking how pages link to each other, an engine can both determine what a page is about, if the keywords of the linked pages are similar to the keywords on the original page.

Let’s face the fact - Anything can happen when one traveling locally, out-of-state, or abroad; even for a day. That is why the best safety you can get for such travels is to buy travel insurance.

You can rest assured that you have the best protection throughout your journey with travel insurance. If you think such travel insurance are not necessary, think again; anything can occur while you are away from your home. You should also realize that some financial problems could happen that might be beyond you on such journeys. When one gets travel insurance, all such travel related difficulties are effectively handled.

You can get the travel insurance you need from the insurance companies, or even from the banks. Most people get per-trip travel insurance which has the tendency to effectively cover all issues that might occur from the point of departure to the point or re-entry into one’s country of residence. There are certain travel insurance that you can buy which are specifically for risky countries you might want to travel to, or risky behavior you might want to engage in while you are away on such travels. Because of the different types of travel insurance, the rates are different. It’s unwise to buy a travel insurance that will cover risky travels when you don’t intend to travel to risky places of the world or to engage in risky behavior.Seventy to one hundred twenty can adequately take care of a couple’s travel insurance package for as long as two weeks to any European country. Same goes for travels to Africa or such locations. Always investigate the country you are traveling to so that you can buy the right travel insurance that’s specific to that particular country, before you embark on the journey. Finally, it doesn’t matter whether you are traveling locally or internationally, you need travel insurance.

Marsha Friedman, Founder of EMSI, a national public relations firm says ” In my nearly twenty years of experience in the public relations industry the missing link to many publicity campaigns is positioning! I have found that by correctly positioning each book, product or service you can literally double your media exposure.” Friedman continues, “So what is positioning? Presenting yourself to the media in a way that immediately grabs and holds their interest in your topic.” It “positions” your topic with other similar topics in the news so that those reading your press materials can easily understand the subject and see how it compares to others like it. Even though positioning has been around for years, it is still an elusive fact for many people looking to promote their book, product or service. When it comes to writing a release to attract media attention - radio, television, and print - the rules of press release writing need to be!well!.rewritten.

Marsha Friedman adds, “A creative and well thought out presentation of your product to the media is an absolute must! The competition will always grow exponentially, so you need to get aggressive. Positioning is the missing link to your promotion that will really help you add lots of media successes to your public relations initiative.” Let’s let Marsha Friedman share some tips that her firm uses to position her clients at EMSI:

1. Your press materials must have a good understanding not only of your unique message but also how it is relevant to today’s society.

2.	Really look at what you are actually promoting and find the “hot” pieces of information that really put it in front of the pack. Find out what is ground breaking about it.

3.	Take a close look at the media and see how other items like yours are being handled and portrayed. Are they being treated well? Ignored?

4.	Then start writing your press release! Make sure that you get all of these “pearls” of wisdom down on a two page (maximum) release and slap an eye-catching headline at the top. The audience of your press release is a very inundated producer, so make it eye catching!

5.	Be plain and obvious. If you the producer or editor has to really think hard to decipher your message, they will pass over you. Give them an instant concept!

6.	Personalize the press release for each of the mediums that you are pitching to. Everyone is looking for something different, so know the formats and pitch accordingly.

7.	Don’t forget your bio! This is your time to really establish yourself as an expert on the topic that you are presenting in your release. It’s time to build some credibility.

8.	You can be a bit more sales-y with your talk radio press releases, but always remember to give a clear idea of the show and why you are an expert to talk about your topic.

Marsha Friedman adds, “So there you go, some tips to really get your press release in order. But don’t forget that without a relentless phone follow up campaign you may not be able to reap the fruits of your labor. Often times the media never receives your materials or was interested but just too busy to call for more information. Following up by phone puts you ten steps ahead of the hundreds of publicists desperately vying for their attention.”

If you would like to learn more about gaining national media exposure for your company, product or service, without the financial burden of monthly retainers, Friedman is here to help .

Many people like me get into trouble in their college years. During their first taste of real freedom, they also get inundated with free credit card offers. They enjoy spending however and whenever they want, then find themselves unable to make the necessary payments and mired in debt.

My credit was shot before I finished college. However, I grew up, got a good job and found myself needing credit cards and needing to rebuild my credit history. It took some time but bad credit does go away and one of the first steps can be to get bad credit credit cards. My credit is now perfect and getting the best rate for a mortgage was a snap.

Know what you are up against by getting a copy of your credit report. Your credit score may look pretty bad now, but it is possible to improve your score; even if you do not, there are more credit options for those with poor credit than ever before.

The next thing you should do is decide between a credit card guaranteed through a bank or financial institution or an unsecured card with a very high interest rate. After you have started the process to obtain your credit report, check with your bank and analyze you usage of the account. Is bouncing checks in your history? Do you keep an up to date log? If the answer is yes to either, you should consider the “bad credit credit card” options.

Once you choose on the bad credit cards route, you need to be aware of the available options. Is a secured deposit required? Will you instead choose no deposit but be saddled with a high interest rate? How much is the annual fee? Will the interest rate be lowered if you maintain a good payment history? Can you choose the day payment is due, so you can match it up with payday? Are there any bonus programs? What, if any, are the income requirements?

Don’t just be grateful to get the card, you have rights and choices. Be most careful with the interest rates. Some can go as high at 22% - run, don’t walk from that card. Anything under 20% is a decent find for an unsecured credit card for someone with bad credit history.

You should get a new copy of your credit report every few months to track the improvement in your credit score and ensure that your on-time payments are being recorded. If they are not, notify the credit reporting company immediately. That way, when you ask “What is my credit score?” you can be confident that the result is positive and accurate.

In college I got into real trouble with my credit. I filled out free applications, charged left and right, and was unable to pay the balances that kept racking up more and more in interest. After college, I got serious about turning my credit around and now my score is perfect. Make an honest assessment of your credit history. Ask, “What is my credit score?” Try bad credit credit cards, which have several options to help you back on your feet. Obtain credit report figures on yourself from time to time, just to make sure your credit continues to improve as you make your payments on time.
